Here at Ghyll Head we have many ways in which you can support and give back to the residents of Manchester and make a lasting impact in our community.

Through our Give Back opportunities, we invite businesses of all sizes to join us in supporting Ghyll Head's mission of empowering young people through outdoor education. By participating in volunteer projects, fundraising efforts, and collaborative initiatives, Manchester businesses can not only give back to their community but also engage their employees in rewarding experiences.

Together, we can make a difference in the lives of young people.

We understand that not every business has the resources to support these initiatives on their own. We encourage collaboration and partnership and perhaps by joining forces with other businesses in Manchester, you can amplify the impact and make a difference on an even larger scale.

Volunteer Days at Ghyll Head provide a meaningful way to contribute to our centre as well supporting the students and groups who visit. Spend time outdoors, with colleagues or friends, connect with nature and help us look after our fabulous local environment. Work Party tasks (depending on the time of year and the weather!) may include pruning overgrown shrubs, clearing paths and driveways, litter-picking, wood collecting or internal decorating.

If you're interested in sponsoring or helping to support a group visit and stay at the centre including the various charities, youth and community group as well as the wide range of school groups then we can certainly help you make this happen.

Ghyll Head offers unforgettable outdoor experiences that promote personal growth, teamwork, and leadership skills. Through your sponsorship, you'll provide students with the opportunity to participate in activities like canoeing, climbing, and orienteering, helping them develop confidence and resilience in a supportive environment.

The centre hosts a wide range of groups from across Manchester, and therefore your support could help the young people of Manchester visit the centre and take away an experience which will live with them for the rest of their lives.

Various options and packages are available for you to support and we can tailor these to suit.

In addition to financial support, your business could provide social value through in-kind donations of goods or services. This could include outdoor equipment, educational materials. Your contributions will help us enhance our programmes and better serve the needs of our participants.
